An evening at Quail hollow: Spencer + Roddey
Spencer and Roddey exchanged vows on a crisp fall evening in Charlotte at one of our favorite churches, Christ Episcopal. It was a formal, black tie affair for 300 of their closest family and friends. The reception that followed was at Quail Hollow, where guests were greeted with classical strings and an abundance of glistening candlelight. The ballroom was transformed into an enchanted garden with greenery woven throughout the ceiling and tables dressed in collections of etherial flowers, some so large they created tree-like canopies above the guests. The photos practically speak for themselves. Party on the Moon kept the party in high drive all night long and the champagne did not stop flowing. Because it was Veteran’s Day weekend and the Marine Corps birthday, the couple chose to honor the groom’s military service and celebrate the occasion with a patriotic farewell consisting of the Marine Corps Hymn and “USA!” chanting guests waving American flags. The newlyweds rode off down Quail Hollow’s tree-lined drive, illuminated in the red, white, and blue. This wedding was one for the books!
